The music moved flawlessly between selections for the processionals and the bridal march. You were very professional with the singer, and the balance between the music and his voice was perfect. 	June 20th, 2009 DJ Joe was an absolutely incredible DJ. To start, he met with us for preparatory sessions prior to our wedding during times and locations that were convenient to us and was always professional and upbeat. Throughout the whole process, DJ Joe has been relaxed but enthusiastic, very thorough and organized yet flexible, professional in appearance and behavior yet willing to foster a sense of pure enjoyment, and completely dedicated to providing a service that would make us happy. My husband and I were looking for a DJ that would play the songs that we wanted to hear, and not corny songs that are usually played at weddings, and we wanted a huge dance party where everyone (including ourselves) were having fun. We specifically asked that the first hour of our reception be all hip-hop and top hits with just pure dancing. Wow did Joe deliver he not only played all the songs we requested (as well as my favorite dance song twice!) and none of the songs we banned, but he got everyone up dancing and kept us all dancing for five hours! We ended up having a classy black-tie-optional reception overlooking the ocean with a sit-down three-course meal intertwined with an incredible dance party.Joe had done so much preparation and was so well-equipped, that he transitioned us incredibly smoothly between all of the dancing, first dance, meals, speeches, slide-show, bouquet toss, even to the send-off and after-party. From the young to the old, everyone approached us afterwards to tell us how much fun they had at our wedding an d how great our DJ was. I can honestly say that my wedding reception was probably the most memorable, special and incredibly fun day of my thirty years.I believe that hiring a DJ like Joe Durivage is essential to create this sort of day and I am so happy I chose him for my wedding. He is light-hearted, organized, patient, dedicated, hard-working, and knows music. 	March 21st, 2009 What a lifesaver! With 45 minutes to go before our wedding, we found out that the DJ we had booked had written down the wrong date and would not be able to make it to our wedding in time. The caterer said he knew a great DJ in town and gave us Joe's number. The wedding was to start at 7 p.m. and we didn't contact Joe until around 6:25. By 7 p.m., he was set up ready to go just as if he had planned it all along. The ceremony went off without a hitch including the special songs we had planned. The reception was great and Joe kept the dance floor full all of the time. Many commented at what a great job the DJ did. I would recommend Joe to any and everyone. 	January 3rd 2009 "Joe was the DJ at our recent wedding reception and did a fantastic job! When we met him before the event, it became clear he was a good match for our wedding. He asked if we had any songs we wanted played, and I e-mailed him a list of songs. I was so surprised at the reception to find that he had researched all the songs and incorporated them into the program. He even managed to find a college fight song from my husband's alma mater--this made all of my husband's out-of-town guests very happy! It seemed that the dance floor was never empty because Joe knew the right songs to play to keep the guests moving. The funniest thing that happened was at the the end of the evening when Joe was supposed to be leaving---the dance floor was still full and the guests kept begging him to "just play one more song" ---- that was the most obvious sign to us that we had chosen the right person for our DJ. 	Disc Jockey review; On April 11, 2008 we had a beach wedding at a private mansion in North Myrtle Beach. We hired Joe Durivage as our disc jockey supplying him with our picks of music to include all of the ceremony. My wife, myself and our whole family could not believe the job Joe did. One his timing on all the music was perfect, two he set up his own equipment on the beach to insure great quality, then lugged it back to the mansion. Through out the night he had the 140 people laughing, dancing and not wanting this event to ever end. He is a guy from the 60's stuck into a 30 year old body, knows music from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and today's hits. His mix was right on target. 	On September 21.2007 I had the absolute pleasure of working a wedding with Joe Durivage. He went out of his way to help with the ceremony as well as being the “voice” at the reception. 	First of all congratulations! We got married last June in Pawley's and had a blast. Joe is great and also originally from NY. We saw him DJing at a friends' wedding and hired him on the spot. We met up with him a few days before the wedding and gave him a list of what we wanted to hear (and what we didn't - Macarena!) and he stuck to the list exclusively. 	We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our daughter's sweet sixteen party. He was great with the kids and so patient with their requests. He played what the kids were asking him to play, yet he managed to keep the music so clean. 	Hi Joe, Our Christmas Party was a blast! Everyone had a super time and truly enjoyed the entertainment and music. I think they especially enjoyed the scavenger hunt. With such a varied group it is hard to select music that pleases everyone, but you did a great job! From 25 to 85 is a tough age range, congratulations and thank you for a job well done. 	Joe, I can not thank you enough for the great time we had at the party on 12/7/07. The President of the company made the comment on how great you were. 	Hey Joe, I am sorry it took so long to get back with you. We had a great time Friday night.. Thanks a bunch I really don't know what I would have done without you..
